Terms and Conditions
- Blockchain Africa Conference Promotion: The event organisers must promote the Blockchain Africa Conference 2024 on their website and across their social media platforms.
- Event Eligibility: Only events relevant to the themes and objectives of Blockchain Africa Week will be considered for inclusion and events that are taking place in-person, in Africa.
- Submission Deadline: All event submissions must be received by the specified deadline of 15 October 2024. Late submissions may not be considered for inclusion.
- No Participation by Bitcoin Events: Companies submitting events acknowledge that Bitcoin Events will not participate in or co-organize any of the submitted events. This includes but is not limited to speaking engagements, sponsorship, or promotional activities.
- Event Confirmation: Events will only be listed as part of Blockchain Africa Week after confirmation from the organizing committee. Submission of the event form does not guarantee inclusion.
- Event Promotion: Companies are responsible for promoting their events independently. While events will be listed as part of Blockchain Africa Week on the event website, promotional activities are the sole responsibility of the event organizers.
- Compliance: All submitted events must comply with local laws and regulations. The organizers reserve the right to reject events that violate any applicable laws or regulations.
- Event Content: Event content must be relevant, informative, and respectful. The organizers reserve the right to reject events with inappropriate or offensive content.
- Changes and Updates: In case of any changes or updates to the event details, the event organizers must inform the Bitcoin Events team promptly.
- Event Logistics: Event organizers are responsible for all logistics related to their events, including venue arrangements, speaker coordination, and attendee management.
- Liability: The organizers of Blockchain Africa Week are not liable for any issues or disputes arising from the submitted events. Event organizers are solely responsible for the content and conduct of their events.
- Collaborative Efforts: While Bitcoin Events will not participate in the submitted events, collaboration among other entities and organizations is encouraged to enhance the overall experience of Blockchain Africa Week.
- Final Decision: The organizing committee reserves the right to make the final decision on the inclusion of events in Blockchain Africa Week. This decision is non-negotiable and final.
The confirmed side events will be made public on the event website by 1 October 2024.
By submitting their events for inclusion in Blockchain Africa Week, companies agree to adhere to these terms and conditions.
Failure to comply with these terms may result in the rejection of event submissions or removal from the Blockchain Africa Week program.
