Chief Standards Officer at Ripple

Adrian has worked as a technology researcher, software engineer, product developer and solutions architect. These days he represents Ripple as their Standards Officer co-chairing a working group at the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) to develop new payments standards for the Web and pioneering a neutral and open payments protocol called Interledger, the TCP/IP of the Internet of Value. He was also involved in the development of mobile Web standards and technologies while at dotMobi in Dublin, primarily focused on mobile device capability detection. Although globally focused since joining Ripple he has been closely involved in the retail payments and Web technology industries in South Africa for many years in roles at ACI Worldwide, Paycorp Holdings and Stanchion and as co-founder and developer of the website sarugby.com.
