The initial lineup of confirmed speakers will be unveiled on the website in June/July 2026.

The Call for Papers will open on 1 April 2026 and close on 30 September 2026. Speaker slots will range from 15–30 minutes per presentation.

We will continue to review applications after the closing date if speaking slots remain available. All applications received before the deadline will be responded to. We accept submissions on a rolling basis, so we strongly recommend applying early — your chances of selection decrease as the deadline approaches.

If Bitcoin Events is interested in proceeding with your application, a member of the Speaking Review Committee will contact you to schedule a call. We require direct communication with the proposed speaker before final confirmation. A reserve list is maintained for any speaker cancellations.

Please read the Speaker Submission Guidelines here before submitting your application. If your speaking application is not successful, feel free to enquire about our sponsorship options, which include speaking opportunities.

Please send any questions regarding speaking slots to info@bitcoinevents.co.za.
