Anrich Daseman

Senior Fintech Specialist at the South African Reserve Bank (SARB)

Anrich Daseman is a Senior Fintech Specialist in the SARB’s Fintech Programme, responsible for reviewing policy and regulatory stances on fintech developments. His former role involved overseeing risk in the payment system and ensuring that financial market infrastructures comply with the relevant legislation and regulatory frameworks. He previously served as a visiting member of the BIS CPMI (Bank for International Settlements Committee on Payments and Market Infrastructure). He is currently a member of the BIS Working Group on Digital Innovations and a member of the Intergovernmental FinTech Working Group. Anrich holds a B.Com Honours degree in Economics, B.Com in Risk Management and an MBA from the Gordon Institute of Business Science. He is currently pursuing an MSc in Finance majoring in Economic Policy at the University of London.
