John is global leader for PwC’s cryptocurrency business and CoFounder of PwC’s Digital Asset Services start-up (Vulcan platform). The two roles focus on building enterprise grade blockchain, crypto and digital currency platforms – that can enable Vulcan’s next generation digital wallet, compliant digital identities and AI / reporting platforms. The Vulcan business takes the best tech from global Fintech trends and companies and combines this with PwC global industry IP to create innovative and unique technologies for multiple Industry verticals

Previously to this role John ran PwC’s Financial Markets Consulting business across Asia with a previous focus on building the FS Technology team throughout the region. John’s team specialised in core platform replacement in the retail banking markets, institutional banking and more recently global insurance markets.

Prior to PwC John was part of a start up (Milestone Group) in Sydney, consulting within investment banking sectors whilst building and implementing fund accounting, unit pricing and order management solutions for global custody and asset management firms.
