Principal Program Manager, Azure Blockchain at Microsoft

Michael Glaros is a Principle Program Manager with the Microsoft Azure Blockchain engineering team where his duties include helping to accelerate blockchain application deployment for both customers and system integrator partners. Michael provides a select group of enterprise customers with fundamental program management services necessary to help launch their workloads into production using Azure Blockchain as a platform. Michael previously served as the Senior Risk Manager for the Azure Global Ecosystem team where he was responsible for developing Azure’s risk assessment methodology, building a risk-aware culture while balancing the needs of customers, regulators, auditors, and internal stakeholders; and executing risk treatment plans for over 130 service teams across Microsoft’s Cloud+Enterprise Division.

Prior to joining Microsoft, Michael spent 4+ years as the Senior Director of Information Security for Outerwall (overseeing the PCI Tier 1 merchant certification program for over 60,000 DVD rental and coin exchange kiosks) and 6+ years as the Executive Director of Information Security for Sony Pictures Entertainment where he helped the studio obtain the first ISO 27001 certification in Hollywood. Previously, Michael served as a delivery manager with Deloitte in their Enterprise, Risk and Security Services group focusing on Identity and Access Management.
