Tony Obiajuru
Head of Programs and Broadcast Journalist at CryptoTvplus
Tony Obiajuru is Nigeria’s foremost blockchain/cryptocurrency Event Host and Media Practitioner with a background in Broadcast Journalism. He started his career in the events and media industry in 2017 and today, is highly recognized for a demonstrated success in news gathering, broadcasting, excellent interview skills and hosting events.
Tony works with Africa’s leading blockchain and cryptocurrency broadcasting channel – CryptoTvplus as; Head of Programs and Broadcast Journalist, where he coordinates channel programs, present news stories of latest happenings captured within the crypto space, interview top players, stakeholders and crypto enthusiasts and also provide analysis of the crypto market.
Tony anchors several programs on CryptoTvplus and most notably among them is “Inside Blockchain” a program that helps audience members stay up to date with the latest news and happenings captured within the crypto space locally & globally. He has hosted this program since 2018. Other programs include; “AMA Series”, “On The Block” & “The State of DeFi”.
Through interviews on his program, Tony has promoted diverse fintech & blockchain projects such as; Binance, Luno, Bantu Blockchain, Chiji14Xchange, Paxful, Yellow Card, Bundle Africa, NaijaCrypto, Bitfxt Tech, Sabi Exchange, Beam, Crypto Masterclass, Blockchain Nigeria User Group just to mention a few.
In the events industry, Tony is a proven Master of Ceremony with over 3+ years of experience. He has consciously built an excellent reputation for helping couples, corporate and social events organizers interpret the objectives of their events with a deep sense of humour.
Over the years, Tony has anchored high profile events for NGOs, national, international & multinational organizations, like; Binance, Bantu Blockchain Foundation, SOSWIN Foundation, Talem Business School, Africa Blockchain Developers Call, BlockTech Women Conference, The Mental Health Fair, iSpeak Conference, The Enterprising Teachers Conference and so much more.
In 2019, Tony anchored CryptoTvplus CampusBCAT (Campus Blockchain & Cryptocurrency Awareness Tour) in the University of Ibadan & Portharcourt with a combined attendance record of 8,000 participants.
