Cordel Robbin-Coker

Co-Founder and CEO of Carry1st

Cordel Robbin-Coker is Co-Founder and CEO of Carry1st, the leading mobile games publisher and digital commerce platform for Africa. Prior to founding Carry1st, Cordel spent over a decade in private equity and investment banking with The Carlyle Group and Morgan Stanley, across the US, Europe, and Africa.

He most recently served as Vice President in the $700 million Carlyle Sub-Saharan Africa fund; and prior to that, served as aide to Carlyle executives Bill Conway and Ed Mathias. Cordel serves as Director and Treasurer of the Milton Hershey School, a K12 boarding school for underprivileged children, and the Hershey Trust Company which manages its ~$20 billion endowment. He also serves as a Venture Scout for Andreesen Horowitz; Venture Partner for Adaverse (Cardano blockchain accelerator); and Venture Partner for The Raba Partnership (fintech VC). Cordel is a graduate of Stanford University and a native of Sierra Leone.
