Joshua is Head of Africa for Bybit, which aims to build Africa’s crypto infrastructure for the sophisicated traders, the newbies, the crypto investors, as well as the remittance and payment users, one stage at a time. He is currently driving one of the most focused and heaviest investments in Africa among crypto exchanges. Previously as CEO of Nigeria of OPay, he and leadership team built the largest payment fintech unicorn in Africa, valued at US$2B in 2021 and invested by Softbank. In 2.5 years, they built OPay into a platform used by 20M users monthly and played a role in transforming financial inclusion in Nigeria.

Prior to that, Joshua worked in various capacities on African business and topics for more than 15 years, including with multilateral agencies, Chinese state-owned companies, consultancies, and local African businesses and projects.
