Rajiv has built a 12+ years’ successful career in the field of Financial Services, Business Development, Economic Development, Investment promotion, Economic Diplomacy, and International Marketing. Currently, Rajiv is working at the Economic Development Board of Mauritius and specialises in advising Fintech’s and Digital assets firms on Virtual Assets Licenses and fund structures.

He also worked as Economic Counsellor based at the Mauritius High Commission in Australia, and was responsible for enhancing Trade and Investment relations between Mauritius and Australia. Throughout his career, Rajiv has established and nurtured a strong network of key contacts with international investors, banks, FinTech’s, Business Associations and Governments across the world namely in Australia, United Kingdom, South Africa, Japan, Kenya, and Africa both at institutional and private sector level.
His role as Economic Counsellor provided him with great international exposure interacting with Senate Committee Members from the Australian Federal Government.

Rajiv has been instrumental to unlock opportunities in Africa for Australian Companies through the Mauritius jurisdiction. His exposure working for a futures exchange also provided him with an in-depth understanding on trading with sophisticated financial instruments such as derivatives, commodities, currencies, and equities. Rajiv is passionate about how digitalization is reshaping the new world, especially in the context of COVID-19.
