Robert Brine is the Director, Cyber & Intelligence Solutions at Mastercard. Based in Johannesburg, Rob is responsible for driving Mastercard’s AI, Cyber, Fraud, Identity and Security solutions in Southern Africa. 

Mr Brine is also responsible for Mastercard enterprise safety, security and network solutions including fraud management and prevention strategies; security, identity, scoring and decision systems; development and support helping customers to implement fraud solutions as well as cyber, crime trend intelligence and response focused on card, transactions and payments. 

Prior to this role, Mr Brine was leading risk, policy and strategy consulting engagements across defence, financial services institutions, energy, mining, and telecommunications sectors in Middle East/ Africa, Europe and Asia.
