Ryno, an LLB graduate from the University of Pretoria and an admitted attorney, has been immersed in the financial services industry since 2018, taking on key compliance roles at both an asset management firm and a short-term insurance company.

He joined Masthead in 2020 as a Compliance Officer, swiftly broadening his expertise across various FSPs, being CAT I, II, IIA, IV and Crypto compliance. He became the Johannesburg Area Manager in January 2023 and Johannesburg Regional Manager in September 2023. Ryno holds RE 1, 3, 4, and 5 certifications, reinforcing his solid foundation in compliance. He has also contributed as a part-time lecturer on legal aspects at the Independent Institute of Education since 2020, sharing his industry knowledge with aspiring professionals.
